Rail Services
Heighway LTD has completed a number of small and medium sized electrical projects on a variety of rail systems, including Network Rail and Docklands light railway.
These works consisted of:
- DC 750v cable renewals and terminations to conductor rails in Docklands Light Railway Depots
- Larger DC conductor rail installation on Network Rail routes
- External electrical MEP works at Northampton Network Rail Depot (where we supplied, installed and commissioned an Electrical DNO cubicle fitted out with electrical distribution equipment)
Our in-house DNO trained HV Jointers, Fitters and Commissioning engineers now focus on delivering high voltage (AC and DC) electrical infrastructure both on and off track – offering complete overhauls/upgrades as well as new installations.
